Dive Lab is a non-government, for profit Florida Corporation.
Dive Lab is located in Panama City Beach, Florida, on five acres of land just minutes away from Saint Andrews Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.
Dive Lab’s facility includes a 6000 sq. ft. building that contains offices, a machine shop, a clean room, and controlled work areas for engineering and prototype fabrication. The building also contains a hyperbaric test chamber, breathing machines and environmental conditioning and controls for equipment performance studies. The hyperbaric test facility can perform a variety of performance and engineering test/studies on diver worn life support equipment from scuba regulators and full face masks to diving helmets and rebreathers, as well as hyperbaric life support equipment.
A Separate 4000 sq. ft. building contains two manned diving test tanks, water heaters and chillers and air compressors. The building also serves as a dive locker, a fabrication shop, and also provides storage space for a fabrication shop. In addition to the facilities testing assets, Dive Lab is only minutes away from open water testing in the Gulf of Mexico.
Dive Lab’s mission is the improvement of diving equipment for the international diving industry.
Dive Lab was formed to maintain equipment testing and developmental service for Kirby Morgan Dive Systems, Inc.
Dive Lab also offers training and certification for KMDSI Technicians.
